How do I edit my business information?

Learn how to change your business name, description, hours, or category.

After your business profile is live in the Community Marketplace, you may want to update your details — whether it’s changing your hours, refining your description, or updating your discount.

Here’s how to request edits to your listing during the pilot.

What You Can Edit

You can update any of the following:

  • Business name
  • Tagline or description
  • Business hours
  • Address or location info
  • Categories or tags
  • Member offer (discount type, amount, or details)
  • Website or contact information
  • Photos or logo

How to Request Changes

Because this is a limited pilot, profile edits are currently managed by the Goodbuy team. To make an update:

  1. Email us at support@trygoodbuy.com
  1. Include the subject line: “Business Profile Update – [Your Business Name]”
  1. In the body of the email, let us know:
      • What you’d like to change
      • The updated content or images (if applicable)
      • Any urgent timing needs

We’ll review and update your listing, typically within 2–3 business days. We’ll notify you once it’s live.

Image & File Guidelines

  • Logo: Square format (.jpg or .png preferred), minimum 500x500px
  • Cover Photo: High-quality image at least 1200px tall, under 5MB
  • Business categories: Choose up to 4
  • Tags (values-based): Optional, but help members find businesses they identify with
