We take your privacy seriously. Here’s what participating businesses can and cannot see when you use the Community Marketplace.
What businesses CAN see:
- That you’re a credit union member.
When you show your Community Access Pass in-store, it simply confirms that you’re a member eligible for the discount.
- Discount redemptions.
Businesses may log the number of times discounts are used to track how the program is performing.
What businesses CANNOT see:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your credit union account or any financial information
- Your personal contact info
- Your browsing history on the marketplace
Is my pass linked to my identity?
No. Your Community Access Pass is a general membership badge, not tied to your name or credit union account details. It’s like a digital membership card that simply verifies eligibility.
Who can see what?
- Your credit union can see general program usage (like how many members visited the marketplace).
- Goodbuy helps manage the marketplace platform but does not store sensitive member information.
- Businesses only see aggregate usage and that a valid pass was shown — not who you are.
